Goods Movement Program

SCAG's Goods Movement Program seeks to optimize the region's transportation system through increases in economic efficiency, congestion mitigation, safety and air quality improvements, and enhancements to system security.  In doing so, all modes of freight are being evaluated, ultimately resulting in a series of new recommendations and policies regarding infrastructure improvements.

Knowledge Database

SCAG is pleased to introduce the Goods Movement Knowledge Database, a searchable electronic library of over 150 goods movement studies. Now you can find out the current state of knowledge on your goods movement topic of interest. The reports go back as far as 1982 and are mainly focused on the SCAG region. Search results are returned in reverse chronological order; click on the title of a report to view a summary and access the report file.
