Project Enhancement Workshop
The Active Transportation Program Project Enhancement Workshop provided information for project sponsors to maximize the potential and value in their projects and applications.
The workshop featured staff from Caltrans, Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition, California Walks, Stantec, Public Health Alliance, Metro, Alta Planning + Design, and Leadership Counsel for Justice and Accountability.
The Workshop was held on March 16, 2015 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the SCAG Los Angeles office with teleconferencing occurring in the five SCAG County Regional Offices. The Workshop offered information pertaining best practices and innovative trends in:
- Community outreach
- Infrastructure design
- Planning strategies
- Public health partnerships
- Multi-modal integration
