Empowering Southern California with Big Data Analytics

Toolbox Tuesday

Post

Join us for a session focused on powerful new planning and policy tools that allow users to gather and interpret large volumes of data. Big data is especially valuable to inform planning and policy at both the regional and local level. SCAG is providing free access to the StreetLight Insight through the Regional Early Action Planning 2.0 program, via the Regional Data Platform. StreetLight Insight is a platform that can be used for planning and policy development and provides insights into travel behavior trends in an easy-to-use interface that supports a wide variety of research analysis opportunities

Toolbox Tuesdays provide training on a range of practical skills and knowledge for local planning practitioners including training in the use of technology and education for practical approaches to timely issues. All classes and webinars are COMPLIMENTARY for staff of SCAG-member local governments and other SCAG partners in Imperial, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura Counties. Private sector planners, non-profit staff, academics and students are welcome to attend.
