This meeting will feature guest speakers from UCLA Institute of Transportation Studies to discuss the history of freeways, redlining, and racism in Pasadena and Pacoima during the 20th Century and the City of Rialto and the Inland Empire Utility Agency, winners of the Carmen Ramirez Award for Equity, to share their Recycled Water Collaboration project. CivicSparks Fellows and SCAG staff will provide updates on a Climate Equity Compendium and Connect SoCal 2024.

The Regional Planning Working Groups (RPWG) provide a forum to engage stakeholders in the development and implementation of plans and policies to advance the region’s mobility, economic and sustainability goals. These groups will also help support the development of Connect SoCal 2024, the Regional Transportation Plan/Sustainable Communities Strategy.
