Racial Equity and Regional Planning Subcommittee

This committee will identify opportunities to advance racial equity through the policies and strategies in Connect SoCal and guide how our planning and investments over the next 30 years can address and rectify the effects of racially discriminatory policies in SCAG’s environmental justice communities.

Given the declared state of emergency (pursuant to State of Emergency Proclamation dated March 4, 2020) and local public health directives imposing and recommending social distancing measures due to the threat of COVID-19, and pursuant to Government Code Section 54953(e)(1)(A), the meeting will be held telephonically and electronically.
