Scholarship Committee

The SCAG Scholarship Committee evaluates submitted applications for the SCAG Scholarship Program. The program, in partnership with the California Transportation Foundation, provides nine $4,000 scholarship awards for high school or community college students from the SCAG region.

Legislative/Communications and Membership Committee

The Legislative/Communications and Membership Committee provides guidance and recommendations to the Regional Council regarding legislative matters impacting the region; policy direction on SCAG’s communications strategy, outreach, issues, and materials; SCAG membership benefits, and sponsorships. 

The meeting will be conducted in a hybrid manner (both in-person and remotely by telephonic and video conference).

Housing Working Group

SCAG will convene a Housing Working Group meeting to engage stakeholders on several housing-related priorities. The input and discussions from this working group will inform the development of SCAG’s housing program and resources provided to local jurisdictions, shape regional policies for consideration and inform legislative proposals.
