SCAG will present and seek input on the Connect SoCal 2024 Equity Analysis approach, including the identification of Priority Equity Communities, and the Emerging Technology Guiding Principles, which aim to help develop a foundation to evaluate and measure the impact of new technologies before they’re considered for adoption. As we’re nearing the third year of this working group, SCAG is evaluating what the next steps are for this working group are and soliciting feedback at the meeting.

The Regional Planning Working Groups (RPWG) provide a forum to engage stakeholders in the development and implementation of plans and policies to advance the region’s mobility, economic and sustainability goals. These groups will also help support the development of Connect SoCal 2024, the Regional Transportation Plan/Sustainable Communities Strategy.
