FTA Program of Projects
The Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG), as the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the six county region of Imperial, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura, is required to develop the Federal Transportation Improvement Program (FTIP). The FTIP is a list of transportation investments priorities in the region that is consistent with the Regional Transportation Plan/Sustainable Communities Strategy (RTP/SCS).
Annual Listing of Obligated Projects
Federal law, Title 23 CFR §450.334, requires that the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG), as the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the six county transportation commissions (CTCs) region of Imperial, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura, publish a listing of projects that obligated federal transportations funds in the previous federal fiscal year including investments for highway improvements, transit, rail and bus facilities, high occupancy vehicle lanes, bicycle and pedestrian transportation facilities, signal synchronization, intersecti
