Joint Meeting of the Environmental Justice and Public Health Working Groups

The joint Environmental Justice and Public Health related meetings provide a forum for stakeholders throughout the region to convene and provide comments and recommendations for the promotion of public health in transportation and land use planning, air quality, access to parks and open space, mortality rates in communities, and noise impacts on communities.

Given recent public health directives limiting public gatherings due to the threat of COVID‐19 and in compliance with the Governor’s recent Executive Order N‐29‐20, this meeting will be held telephonically and electronically.

SCAG, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, is committed to providing special accommodations to those who are interested in participating in the meeting. SCAG is also committed to helping those with limited proficiency in the English language by providing translation services at the workshop in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act.
