Orange County Sustainability Decathlon
The Orange County Sustainability Decathlon (OCSD) is a new collegiate competition focused on sustainability. Fourteen teams, many from California, have spent the last two years designing and constructing sustainable, ultra-efficient homes that represent the transition to renewable energy. These houses will be on display in a sustainable village for visitors to tour and other demonstrations for attendees. The event is free and will kick off on Oct. 5, 2023 and is open to the public on Oct. 5-8 and 12-15. It will be hosted at the OC Fair & Event Center on 88 Fair Drive in Costa Mesa.
Parking is offered at the fairgrounds for $12 per car. Visitors are encouraged to utilize OC Bus, which is powered by renewable energy and part of OCTA’S commitment to a balanced, equitable, and sustainable transportation network.
