Regional Utilities Supporting Housing (RUSH) Industry Forum

Post

Join SCAG on Friday, April 28 from 8 a.m. to noon to help identify potential program strategies and projects for transformative investment and regional collaboration to overcome infrastructure obstacles and deliver accelerated housing production while addressing climate change and historical inequities.

The RUSH Industry Forum is a half-day convening that will feature a conversation with the RUSH expert panel, a group of experts drawn from Southern California and across the nation.

Following a keynote presentation, the RUSH expert panel will deliver recommendations from an advisory study being organized in collaboration with the Urban Land Institute and PlaceWorks. Building off those recommendations, in-person attendees will then have the chance to engage in roundtable sessions with panelists, jurisdictions, developers, utilities, other key stakeholders and SCAG staff, to discuss and identify strategies and potential projects which could be eligible for part of the $35 million in RUSH grant funds.
