South Bay Cities COG 24th Annual General Assembly

Post

The South Bay Cities Council of Governments (SBCCOG) board of directors invites you to participate in our 24th Annual General Assembly.

The General Assembly is an opportunity for the region’s thought leaders to gather, share ideas and discuss important issues. The theme for the SBCCOG’s 2024 General Assembly is “Artificial Intelligence: Friend or Foe for the South Bay?” The conference will feature panel discussions and interactive exhibits. This year’s program will explore what artificial intelligence (AI)/generative AI is and the types of applications that could benefit cities, as well as potential red flags that cities should consider. The community, as well as county, state, and federal legislators representing the South Bay, are invited to hear an array of speakers and engage with representatives of AI companies and their technologies.

This free event is designed with elected officials, city staff, city commissioners, residents and local businesses in mind and is made possible by the SBCCOG’s generous sponsors.
