During this meeting, SCAG will share updates on Connect SoCal 2024, as well as resilience and conservation policy and project updates under the SoCal Greenprint, Regional Resilience Framework, and Connect SoCal 2024 Special Subcommittee on Resilience and Conservation. The meeting will also share information on upcoming resilience and conservation grant opportunities.

The Regional Planning Working Groups (RPWG) provide a forum to engage stakeholders in the development and implementation of plans and policies to advance the region’s mobility, economic and sustainability goals. These groups will also help support the development of Connect SoCal 2024, the Regional Transportation Plan/Sustainable Communities Strategy.

Given the declared state of emergency (pursuant to State of Emergency Proclamation dated March 4, 2020) and local public health directives imposing and recommending social distancing measures due to the threat of COVID-19, and pursuant to Government Code Section 54953(e)(1)(A), the meeting will be conducted in a hybrid manner (both in-person and remotely by telephonic and video conference).
