Overview

SCAG Scholarship Program Banner Image

The SCAG Scholarship Program, in partnership with the California Transportation Foundation, provides nine $4,000 scholarship awards for high school or community college students from the SCAG region. Students of any field of study are invited to apply; however, preference is given to applications that demonstrate a commitment to community planning, regional planning, urban planning, civil engineering, political science, public administration, sustainable development, or other related fields.

2025 Scholarship Program

The 2025 Scholarship Program application period is now closed. Scholarship recipients will be notified by May 9, 2025, concerning their selection. Unfortunately, SCAG is unable to provide notification to unsuccessful applications due to the volume of applications received.

Nine Students Awarded 2024 SCAG Scholarships

SCAG announced the awardees of its 14th annual scholarship program, helping to inspire and support the next generation of public servants. SCAG received a record total of 115 applications from throughout the SCAG region.
