REAP 2.0 Updated Development Framework Information Sessions

Post

In January, Governor Gavin Newsom proposed a draft fiscal year 2025 state budget that would reduce SCAG’s $246 million Regional Early Action Planning (REAP 2.0) funding allocation by 50 percent. To stabilize the REAP 2.0 program amid budget uncertainty, SCAG staff has prepared draft principles that will inform a REAP 2.0 Framework update, along with a proposed two-phased, four-year expenditure plan.

SCAG staff will be hosting informational sessions on Tuesday, May 14th at 10 a.m. and Wednesday, May 15th at 1 p.m. REAP 2.0 awardees are encouraged to attend and provide input. These sessions will provide an overview of the proposed principles and expenditure plan, as well as an opportunity for awardees to ask questions and offer feedback.

SCAG, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), will accommodate persons who require a modification of accommodation in order to participate in this meeting.
