PATH Metro Villas Phase 2 provides permanent supportive housing for individuals and veterans who are chronically homeless, living with multiple chronic health conditions, homeless, or low-income and provides first-last mile improvements along Beverly Boulevard to connect folks to the Beverly/Vermont train station.

HOUSING
  • 122 affordable units at 30-60% AMI
  • Density of 140 units/acre
TRANSPORTATION

  • Bike sharing station located nearby with 61 spots for overnight bike parking

  • Pedestrian enhancements that include sidewalk repair, new curb ramps, and accessible pedestrian signals (APS) for three intersections for the visually impaired

  • Supports improvements called for in Metro’s First Last Mile Strategic Plan and City of LA’s Mobility Plan 2035

INNOVATIVE PROGRAMMING

  • The Bike PATH Program is a residential bike share program that provides bike share, training, group rides, and bike repair through partnership with local bicycle organizations

  • 25 new bicycles will be purchased and made available to residents, along with lights and helmets, after they complete the bicycle safety training program
