Executive Administration Committee
The Executive/ Administration Committee is responsible for developing policy recommendations to the Regional Council on administration, human resources, budgets, finance, operations, communications, or any other matter specifically referred to the Committee by the Regional Council.
Regional Council
The Regional Council is the governing board of SCAG and consists of 86 elected officials representing 191 cities, six counties, county transportation commissions, transportation corridor agencies, tribal governments and air districts in Southern California.
General Assembly – Annual Business Meeting
SCAG convenes the General Assembly to bring together the official representatives of SCAG’s membership and help set the agency’s course for the coming year.

Environmental Justice Tools For Local Planning
Join us for a Toolbox Tuesday focused on resources to incorporate environmental justice in local planning to meet the state of California’s Senate Bill (SB) 1000 requirements to incorporate environmental justice elements (or a related set of goals, policies and actions) in general plans.
Aviation Technical Advisory Committee

Sustainable & Resilient Communities / Natural & Farm Lands Conservation Working Groups (Joint Meeting)

REAP 2.0 Updated Development Framework Information Sessions
In January, Governor Gavin Newsom proposed a draft fiscal year 2025 state budget that would reduce SCAG’s $246 million Regional Early Action Planning (REAP 2.0) funding allocation by 50 percent. To stabilize the REAP 2.0 program amid budget uncertainty, SCAG staff has prepared draft principles that will inform a REAP 2.0 Framework update, along with a proposed two-phased, four-year expenditure plan.

Legislative/Communications and Membership Committee
The Legislative/Communications and Membership Committee provides guidance and recommendations to the Regional Council regarding legislative matters impacting the region, policy direction on SCAG’s communications strategy, outreach, issues and materials, SCAG membership benefits and sponsorship opportunities.
Modeling Task Force
The Modeling Task Force (MTF) coordinates the Region’s various modeling programs and provides a forum to share model-related information, new ideas, and discuss data standards.
Given the declared state of emergency (pursuant to State of Emergency Proclamation dated March 4, 2020) and local public health directives imposing and recommending social distancing measures due to the threat of COVID-19, and pursuant to Government Code Section 54953(e)(1)(A), the meeting will be held telephonically and electronically.
Transportation Conformity Working Group
The Transportation Conformity Working (TCWG) is a forum to support interagency coordination to maintain transportation conformity and help improve air quality in Southern California.
Regional Transit Technical Advisory Committee
The Regional Transit Technical Advisory Committee, made up of representatives from the Region’s transit operators, provides a forum for coordination of input in the development of the Regional Transportation Plan and the Regional Transportation Improvement Program.
