Exploring Regional Progress with the 2026 State of the Region Report
Register to attend the “Exploring Regional Progress with the 2026 State of the Region Report” Toolbox Tuesday session on June 9 to examine major trends in Southern California. The session will provide detailed insight into regional conditions from 2000 to 2024, including demographic trends and data related to the four pillars of the Connect SoCal 2024 Regional Transportation Plan/Sustainable Communities Strategy: mobility, communities, environment, and economy.
The session will focus on the data and trends gathered in SCAG’s “2026 State of the Region Report,” published recently by SCAG to help local jurisdictions identify regional trends and engage with regional planning and policy decisions. During the session, SCAG will walk through the 2026 State of the Region StoryMap and answer questions to demonstrate how this interactive tool can support and engage with local planning decisions.
The “Exploring Regional Progress with the 2026 State of the Region Report” Toolbox Tuesday will demonstrate how local jurisdictions can use regional metrics and indicators to track progress toward Connect SoCal goals.
