For Angelenos who live more than an easy walk away from a transit
stop, public transportation is just out of reach. Los Angeles
could provide first/last mile solutions that help people get to
and from stations and bus stops. By providing shuttle buses,
expanding bike and pedestrian access, and promoting expanded
use of ridesharing apps for people trying to get to transit,
we can make transit work for more people and take more cars off
the road.
