Introduction to the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act

Join SCAG for a Toolbox Tuesday session on Oct. 27 featuring a comprehensive overview of the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, landmark federal housing legislation that became law on July 11. 

Leslie Pollner, SCAG’s federal lobbyist, will explain the bill’s main points, including changes to housing, transportation, infrastructure, and land use policies that support new housing development and reduce barriers to construction. Pollner will also discuss what the law could mean for local and regional governments and how it might influence future federal housing and transportation policies.
