Planning for Main Streets – Stanton
The Planning for Main Streets project is a regional effort led by SCAG to reimagine state highway corridors that double as community main streets. The project focuses on four corridors—State Route (SR) 1 in Los Angeles County, SR-18 in San Bernardino County, SR-86 in Orange County, and SR-39 in Imperial County—and aims to transform these roads into people-centered places that balance transportation needs with community well-being.
SCAG is hosting online workshops to introduce the local projects, review existing conditions, and gather additional community input. Feedback will help inform corridor priorities and recommendations to improve safety, mobility, and placemaking. While each workshop format is the same, the content will reflect the respective corridor.
For more information on additional workshops and engagement opportunities, visit SCAG’s Planning for Main Streets website.
Spanish interpretation will be available for all online community workshops.
Habrá servicio de interpretación al español en todos los talleres onlinees de la comunidad.
