Regional Planning Working Group
The Regional Planning Working Group (RPWG) is an open forum for sharing SCAG projects, best practices, and innovative regional solutions. Discussions focus on safe and active streets, regional progress, natural and working lands, and sustainable, resilient communities—helping inform SCAG’s work and support local implementation of regional goals.
RPWG meetings are informational only, with no votes or policy positions taken. Open to the public, participants include stakeholders from government, nonprofits, academia, and the private sector.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), SCAG provides accommodations for persons who require them to participate in public meetings. SCAG also provides translations of its documents upon request in accordance with Title VI. Both services can be requested with at least 72 hours (three days) notice in advance of the meetings by calling (213) 236-1895.
