SoCal Transportation Safety Predictive Modeling and Analysis Platform
Join SCAG on July 28 for a Toolbox Tuesday session on the SoCal Transportation Safety Predictive Modeling and Analysis Platform, a new tool in development by SCAG to support local jurisdictions investing in traffic safety.
The session will showcase the current version of the platform and its application in data-informed safety planning and capital investments. It will also highlight how the platform can support local agencies and jurisdictions during grant applications—such as the Active Transportation Program and the Safe Streets and Roads for All program—by providing data and visualizations to identify priorities, document needs, and visualize project benefits. Speakers will include SCAG staff and a representative from Citian, the consulting partner supporting development of the forthcoming SoCal Transportation Safety Predictive Modeling and Analysis Platform.
